This policy applies to all services and/or goods provided by AIBT Bahrain within the Kingdom of Bahrain, including digital content, training, hardware, and consultancy.
In accordance with Law No. 35 of 2012 and Ministerial Resolution No. 66 of 2014:
Consumers may request a replacement, repair, or full refund for defective goods or non-conforming services within 15 calendar days of delivery or service completion.
Any contractual clause or invoice stating “No refund, no exchange” is legally invalid and unenforceable.
If a product poses a risk to health or safety, AIBT must immediately stop its distribution, notify the authorities, and issue a refund or replacement at no cost.
If the fault lies with AIBT, all return shipping, repair, or technician costs must be covered by AIBT, not the consumer.
Return Window: 15 days from the date of delivery or completion.
Eligible Issues:
Defective or malfunctioning goods.
Services not delivered or not matching the agreed terms.
Major discrepancies in product or service descriptions.
Conditions:
Items must be unused, in original condition, with all packaging, tags, and documents.
Digital services (e.g. e-learning, reports) are eligible if delivery fails or content does not match the specification.
Notification: Submit a return/refund request via email or the AIBT support portal within 15 days, including proof of purchase.
Assessment: AIBT will investigate the issue and, if applicable, attempt remediation.
Resolution Options:
Replacement of the product/service.
Repair at no additional cost.
Full refund if resolution is not feasible.
Timeline:
AIBT will respond within 5 business days.
Resolution will be completed within 15 business days.
Cost Responsibility:
Valid claims: AIBT covers all related costs.
Invalid or policy-violating claims: Customer bears the return costs.
Refunds are processed using the original method of payment (e.g., bank transfer, card refund). Processing time is typically 5 to 15 business days, depending on the payment gateway or bank.
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
Fully delivered services that meet all agreed specifications.
Customized or bespoke services/products unless defective.
Opened consumables, single-use items, or digital content that has been accessed or downloaded (unless technical failure is proven).
AIBT reserves the right to extend the return window or apply alternative terms on a case-by-case basis.
In the event of a product recall, AIBT will offer mandatory replacement or refund regardless of original purchase date.
If disputes arise:
The matter will be referred to the Consumer Protection Directorate under the Ministry of Industry & Commerce.
Their decision is legally binding.
