Description and Specifications

Top Features

102MP Sensor + X Processor 5

The heart of GFX100RF is its massive 43.8 x 32.9mm, 102MP CMOS sensor, with a native ISO 80 sensitivity and a whopping 70% more light-gathering area than a full-frame camera. It’s the same sensor in its bigger GFX siblings, and unlocks the same expanded low-light capabilities, image detail, accurate 16-bit colour, dynamic range, and low depth-of-field effects. The sensor is paired with FUJIFILM’s fastest X-Processor 5 to optimize the camera’s performance and functionality.

Compact, Rangefinder Build

Like the X100 series and the GFX50R, the GFX100RF was inspired by the rangefinder, a class of film camera renowned for their lightweight and unobtrusive size. Built around an offset, 5.76m-dot viewfinder, the camera’s intuitive controls make creating easy. At just 1.6 lb, the camera begs to be carried all day and taken everywhere, opening your world to the camera’s superior image quality.

35mm Fixed Lens

Like other rangefinders – including the X100 series – the camera features a fixed FUJINON GF 35mm f/4 lens, offering a 28mm full-frame equivalent field of view. Naturally suited for street shooting, architectural subjects, and landscapes, the lens complements the GFX100RF’s design philosophy with a perspective ideal for capturing most anything. Adding to its versatility are a leaf shutter for flash sync up to 1/4000s and a minimum focusing distance of just 7.8”.

Aspect Ratio Dial

The first of its kind, the GFX100RF leverages its massive sensor size into a design coup, offering shooters direct dial access to nine different aspect ratio options. Once again, FUJIFILM returns to its storied legacy, with the native 4:3 aspect ratio used by the GX680 and the 65:24 aspect ratio by the panoramic FUJIFILM TX-1. The selected ratio will be visible both through the viewfinder and rear LCD screen.

In-Camera Creative Controls

Rounding out the camera’s digital versatility is a suite of in-camera creative options that include FUJIFILM’s industry-standard set of 20 film simulations, a Digital Teleconverter offering 45mm, 63mm and 80mm focal lengths (35mm, 50mm, and 63mm full-frame equivalents, respectively), and an internal 4-stop neutral density filter for slower shutter speeds and wider apertures in brighter lighting conditions.
